Hi, since two days ago my front blowers have stopped working completely, no air coming out of them despite the dash lights for the heating working/lighting ok. I have followed the instructions on this forum and purchased and replaced the hedge-hog final stage resistor, however the heater/fans are still not working. I must add that the final stage resistor I took out was exactly the same as the new one I have just put in, so it would appear it has been replaced previously. I have checked fuses 34 & 64 and they seem fine.

Can anyone please offer some additional help??

The plug that connects into the final stage resistor had dirty / loose connections on the pins

Try wiggling the connector with the blower set on and see if it starts once you move the connector around

Thanks for reply. Tried wiggling, no diff! I am assuming as my air con isn't blowing either then it must be the air con/ heater motor. I can purchase one but do not know where it is located to change it.

Can anyone tell me where the air con/heater motor is located and how I get to it??

Or any other thoughts on what could be the cause???

Additional note: I just noticed "HDC INACTIVE error message on my dash, could this be linked to the above problem

It's just the one motor for the front ventilation

Unsure about the HDC inactive ... Try turning your steering wheel full lock left then full lock right to try and reset steering angle sensor

Could be the actual blower motor fecked ?!
