does anyone know how much fuel u have left in ur tank when the red light comes on? thanks

Think there is still 5-6 litres left in the tank when the light comes on.

Will be in the handbook with exact details as the above is a guess.

I have alway found handbooks a little sketchy when tying to evaluate the amount of reserve petrol. Experience on the other hand is a much better judge, and luckily some time ago I was on my way to fill up when the light came on arond 200 metrers from the filling station. It took 54,3 litres before the nozzle clicked off. So I reckon around 5.7 litres @ 30mpg that would give 37.6 miles as the tank is 60 litres. However I think the tank holds just a little more than that giving an extra bit of comfort.

Why waste it when there are Delapidated Disco's just begging to be put out of My misery!! :D

.

your misery is having a gaylander as a daily driver, the hidden sniggers and pointed remarks must be getting tiring by now:boxing:

What's a fuel light?

my ancient Hippo dunt have one

It's a yellow light that comes on the dash when your fuel guage goes into E. :)

Td4 tanks are 59 litres, believe petrols are 63 litres.
Most ive got into mine is 63 litres into a td4...

I have always got more it mine than what the book says. Maybe it doesnt take into account the filler neck when im brimming it? Or perhaps the pumps are reading wrong

I also think having a fuel light is a novelty....mind you if i had one the bugger would only annoy me because it would always be on
