Hello...Can anyone please advise the part number of the TD4 (2004) gearbox drain plug & filler plug sealing washers. I guess these are a copper washer type.

I am gearing up to change all my transmission fluids with fully synthetic and at the cost of this stuff dont want to chance the old washers - not for the sake of a couple of quid.

I did contact my local LR dealer, but they advised it does not have a drain plug and syphon through the filler. I think chocolate fireguards come to mind here. Least if I am armed with the part number they can then order the washers for me.

I believe the IRD filler washer is TFY101060 & the IRD drain washer is TFY101070.

Manual or auto gearbox?

You'd be betterer to ask in the safety of the Freelander section. Tratter boys frequent this part of the forum.

The manual gearbox has no sealing washer on drain and fill plugs, the intermediate reduction drive has washers on drain and fill plugs, A decent L R dealer should know this.
