Have had various problems with my freelander lately, got hit my some idiot last night who drove off, some damage, fuel cut off went off, have reset this, but now it wont start, i moved it a few feet last night and was fine. So battery fine, starter fine and fuel cut off reset but wont start!! Any ideas?

what damage and where, could they have damaged the fuel pump if its damaged near the wheel arch, if your pump is under the wheel arch.
were you having starting problems before it was damaged?

it is damage on the o/s, did have some starting problems a few weeks ago but that was a dodgy battery, have since replaced with a new one, wondering if its some kind of code preventing the engine starting as on paper it should be going.

If the damage was to the o/s rear its possible the fuel pump under the rear wheel arch has been damaged .

You don't say if the engine turns on the starter?

Would think if it had been hit hard enough to damage the fuel pump where it's located you wouldn't be moving it anywhere....

is turning just not starting, very odd....not so much of an issue in one way as by some miracle the police found the guy who smashed into my car! And he was insured!!
