Most modern cars with an air bag fitted are only worth knicking if you have the keys. Cos the air bag blows up and kicks the immobiliser in, fuel cut off etc.
Most stearing wheel locks can be taken off within 2 minutes. Save your money
Most cars are now stolen too order (freelander 1's are too old to bother with)
The best advice I can give is, the freelander has a big boot and thieves love 4x4's cos you can load em up (with your stuff from your house) and out run the police across muddy fields and plough through fences etc. They can only be taken WITH THE KEY. Do not leave your keys on display, hide the spare set, do not put your house keys on the same ring as your car keys.

Don't ask how I know this, just take the advice.
