the gaylander 2 courtesy im driving at the mo has an inbuilt satnav. so i thought it use that instead of my garmin. entered the post code etc and went on my way.
i was driving from devon to surrey, and the plan was to get onto the a303 and follow that up to the M3 and get off on juncton 11 i think. but satnav had other plans and took me for a right joy ride. took my through winchester city centre, as well as basingstoke, camberley and god knows how many other towns and villages. 2.5 hour journey became a 4 hour journey, without traffic.
although i have to say im happy i wasnt driving the defender up there as i dont think my ass wouldnt have felt so warm(heated seats u see :) )
the gaylander is definately a road car, and a good one at that :)
but deffo not a true land rover :)

you had it set to bike route or avoid m.ways - i've found the nagnav to be very good

yer right it is a good road "car" but (if it's got the right tyres) it's excellent offroad as well - another 8" of clearance, an interior you could hose down to clean and it would be very very good offroad

i would but im skint and cant afford any fuel lol :( shame you dont come via bicester on the way home. im doing nothing, bored as its sunday lol
