Hi,
I've tried searching via the forum and the net.

Can anyone tell me, what size the plug is on the freelander rear diff?

My VCU coupling is fine, its possible my diff that fu'ked

I'm gonna try filling it with oil first to see if it makes any difference, I wish i had a defender 90

Hi from memory topup/level plug is 8mm square

Its just the head off a 3/8th ratchet.

like the previous post said you can use a three eights socket driver ,hope this helps

A 3/8 ths ratchet fits well enough to do the job.
