Hey Everyone!

Just a couple of questions on the rear badge for my Freelander. Currently, I have the green badge that's as standard on the pre-facelift Freelander. I'm in the process of changing the badges all round to smarter black ones, and all that i'm left with is the green one on the back.

2 Questions really.....

1) Have uploaded a couple of pictures - on the 2003+ - they have another smarter ''Freelander'' rear badge ( attached pic ) - is there any way in which i can take the green badge off, and replace it with this 2003+ badge - it looks longer - but maybe the clips could be taken off and it could be stuck on? Just a thought.... Do you think this would be possible?

2) ( Attached pic ) - i've seen a couple of these - its the same style freelander rear badge as the original green one that i've got on there now, but it's black and silver. Does anyone know where to get these, or if they have one that i could pur-chase!

Any thoughts on the above 2 would be great

Hi there , one on the left is a facelift badge , and would look like a bodge on a pre facelift , I would stick to a original , powerfull uk do badges have a look !

Yeah that did go through my mind - i think with anything like that, you do run the risk of smart bordering tacky.

Will have a look at PowerfulUK for badges - i got my front and rear light guards from them, so well worth a look!

My son does all my decals...normally have to wait a couple of months for them....kids tsk

My nephew does graphics and signs..... I am still waiting for some wheel centres for my volvo that the freelander replaced. I think I asked him for them about 2 years ago now!:rolleyes:

I guess he is too busy with real customers!

he's not that bad...just at a busy sign company

If he wants another customer - i could put an order in? If he's still got the original design from your black and white ones - would it take too long to do it??

In the first pic its chrome on green

The second pic Its chrome letters on carbon wrap I think you mean?...what would you want written...."freelander" or something else?

I can ask but he did say when he done them for me, not to tell people:director: but shy bairns get nowt;)

Ideally exactly the same as yours -
Freelander... in the black and white..... whatever yours is....
If you could ask, that would be amazing...... :)
 
If he were to start producing them I think he would get quite a few sales.
I have a plain carbon sticker over my rear badge but if proper style carbon with freelander in silver or even plain black background with silver freelander were available I would be in the queue for one!
 
I've asked the question but as the company is sorting out the new premises he now sits within eye shot of his boss so it could be difficult. ...
plus he dont want to get into a bararge of requests. so it would be a one time thing.
he said to give him a few days to suss the situation and look at the possibility.
 
Or alternatively spend a whole weekend like I did cutting and plastic welding the facelift rear trim to create curved corners to fit a pre-facelift bumper. :rolleyes:
