Hi all anyone had probs with oil pump. If I drive about 10 mile and sit on idle the oil light comes on. The oil is at max level, Bleep the throttle and it goes out. Cheers bri

Thanks thats an idea, was going to change pump , but prob worth changing oil pressur switch first. Thanks

pressure switch is cheapest and simplest route first. might also be worth checking wiring to switch.

the only way to relax is to fit a pressure gauge, even if its only temporary

Turned out to be the sensor and a cheaper fix. Cheers Bri

Just the MOT to sort end of month, only bloody car that gives me prob wi emissions. Checkin the rest over weekend. Will try it and prob have to fit another Cat. Think its a cheap one fitted about 3 yrs ago.
