Hi to all, i know i'm a newbie , but hey i'll jump straight in.....
Started to try and solve my freelander problems over the w/end but keep on coming to dead ends.
She runs lovely on tickover and up to 3/4k then just bogs out as if being starved..
I,ve had the air flow meter checked... ok. checked all pipes are connected and in good condition, had the fuel pump out today and cleaned/checked it...air filter all good and clean..
now i'm stuck for where to go next, and seeing as i'm in france .. there's now really helpfull people/garages that i know of,
any ideas will be most appreciated
cheers Al.

check ya hoses - they are prone to splitting or collapsing. common feature on the doozils (if thats wot you got).

FFS not agin. . . . .WOT MOTOR IS IT!!!!!AND DUNT SAY GAYLANDER. . . . .:fighting:

1.8petrol esi model. not that the model should make any difference !
Er. . . .fink its very different, less you know better, but then youd not be askin fer help ,wood you, fink we are mind readers . . . . .

judging by the interlect of replys i think i'll fair better dealing with the frenchies !! such a shame people just can't be helpfull any more..... guess that why i live in FRANCE.

I don't think the replies show the intellect of the replier - more the dumb **** that asked a question with only a small part of the significant information. But then - if ya cant spell proper - why shud i think yu could ask a half decent Q eevva? Tiz funny yu should say "there's now really helpfull people/garages that i know of" maybe its just that no-one either in France or the UK can read your mind.

ere Minge - does the petrol have two fool pumps? coz that could be the problem - yu say you have had it checked - is that under load? how have yu had it checked? was it because they didnt know what you wanted? It sounds like typical fool starvation. Check the fool pressure.

Judging from the intellect of the question I would think the "Frenchies" would be even more "unhelpful" even if they speak perfect English.

Ils ne seront pas probablement des liseurs de pensée non plus!

now that's better.. some straight talkin.
Before you all completley linch me,I must apologize for my little rant, but when you have a bad day , it's easy to misinterpret peoples intentions. and as for mis-spelling.. dyslexia affects a lot of people you know..

haha tough ****e matey, that was some pretty poor backpedalling.

How can you get on your pedantic high horse when you can't even spell "inteRleckt"?

It's ok, we know you're just a twa't really ;)
