Hi guys,
I have a 1646 code coming on my scanner in my 03 freelander
I was wondering if anybody could tell me what this was, what may be the cause, and what I can/could/should do to fix it?

Have you tried googling it? Normally brings up everything you need! It's all I normally works great

i have the same code but my fans dont run at all engine just over heats could it be my fan ecu???? i already change the thermostat, temp sensor and radiator temp sensor my lat conclusion would be the fan ecu???? any advice

have you checked fuse or problem with the fan itself try putting some power to the fan to see if it works

ok i changed the a fuse the error went away and my fans work when i turn on the AC. But the fans still dont kick in when the engine starts to heat up, the temperature goes all the way up dont know what else to do i already change the thermostat, temp sensor and radiator temp sensor.

it is your tempature sensor if the fans are not coming on
