Hi, i'm new here so firstly Big Hello! I've just bought a 99 Freelander and it has what i can only describe as "Tiger" stripes on the rear wing and rear doors, does anyone know if these were factory original or just some spurious vinyl graphics?

Many Thanks,

Maria :)

Tiger stripes! Why? That must look pants. When you take them off (which I'm hoping you will) gently heat them first with a hair dryer as it softens the glue. Maybe post a picture of this tiger Freelander ;)

The only pics I can find are here

It has a certain "je ne c'est quoi" ...

Oh dear, they actually rolled off the production line like that did they?
What were Land Rover thinking? It looked cool?
I wonder if they made a matching interior? Zebra or tiger skin seats, now we're tlaking ;)

Yeah, they're all equally yucky.
The only graphics I want to see on a Freelander is either "Land Rover" or "V6".

they put those stripes on em so that you could hide em in the zoo and pretend it had been stolen, claim the insurance and buy a proper landy ;)

My Hippo is fine. I'd never hide her in a zoo and claim on insurance, that's naughty.
Sometimes, she is covered in mud, mainly when it's raining ;)
