I upgraded the dash of my 2003 freelander to the new spec model including passenger air bag, center console and instrument panel in autumn. Everything seemed to work fine, but now when I try to use the air con it is not working. I took it to a garage who says everything works fine if it is triggered from the management interface and seems to think the problem is with the instrument panel. Has anybody else done this upgrade and have working air con?

Not me. I'd buy a new car if I wanted a newer dash, seems less hastle to me

I modified my MY01 dashboard in so far that I now have a working clock/radio display ..

Well, I finally decided to wire it manually and now have working aircon , just as well in this weather.
