Hi, recently taken ownership of 2013 Freelander 2. Love it to drive, failed MOT on front spring but previous owner got both done for me. Advisory was rear wheel bearing noisy and rear brakes. Just got these done as I had noticed droning noise. However gutted to find out noise was likely rear diff not wheel bearing . Possibly getting quoted another £1000 for rear diff , any suggestions to where it might be cheaper. Also how can I tell if it needs doing asap , landrover specialist just said keep an eye on it and the noise ? Thanks for any advice . First time with a landrover

Got revised quote from LR specialist local and it is over £1400 ! So I've booked in with Bells but not till sept due to no availability.
Not sure if it needed bearings and brakes doing so might have wasted a fair amount there but hopefully get it sorted soon
