Hi welcome to LZ there is a way its called burn it and buy a proper land rover or just go down to a garage with diagnostics reader and they will clear your fault or tell you whats wrong
Pop over to the introduce yourself bit and do just that, then take a look in the Freelander specific forum, search is useful and might provide an answer to your problem.
Folk on here can get testy if you don't do the introduction bit, they will then get even more annoyed if you don't use search, especially if your fault turns out to be quite common
Taking it to Ridgeways at Rotherham on Monday moring, I can't see me running round the car doing an Injun dance some how to it would probly rain instead of fixing it. :lvlove-158:
ridgeways of rotherham sounds like a dealer or a specialist (they charge specialist prices to) if i were you i be would finding a good mechanic that you could trust or if you know a good mechanic then take it to him and get it on thier diagnostic machine (should haave the software for the Freelander 2) and should be able to reset it good luck
I took it to a local garage and he did not have the right diagnostic for it, took it to Ridgeways monday and they had it in and out in 30 mins the cost was £48.
