All I can say is wow what a mess. Today I've removed the inlet manifold to clean the cr@p out of it. A few on here have spoke about it and how bad it can get and they are not wrong!!!! The ports that should roughly be the size of a £2 coin were infact the size of a penny!!!which can't be good for air flow at all so I attacked it with inlet cleaner and then petrol that's after scraping off the worst of it first. It seems to have made quite a difference its got more power as I would expect so to all who havnt already done this do it its a must. But just be ready for the mess its bad news!!! Mine has done 155000 miles!!

Yeah done it a while back put the bm one in .when I brought the car 6 years ago not long after the waranty ran out it started to smoke and use oil thought I'd been f""""" over got told to change it by a mate and it sorted it so I don't think that helped it. But it was so restricted due to the cr@p in it!!!!recomend it to all td4s with higher milage in the end it would of just got worse!!!
