HiI'm new and not too good with technology Ihave a Freelander 1 2004 can anyonehelp me, how many glow plugs does it need and also each tim I starther up in the morning my estate where I live disappears in a pile ofwhite smoke but this doesn't last for long can anyone help please.

there are 4 heater plugs ,be very careful if you try to remove them as they are not very robust and will snap off if too much torque is applied , it is best to get the engine really hot before trying to remove them. My current td4 had the dreaded smoking problem, white smoke is unburned diesel and in my case a set of recon injectors sorted the problem out completely
