Can anyone tell me the best / easiest way to remove the doors.on a 3 door FL1 ? Looks like I could knock the pins out of the hinges or ... with some awkward spannering ... maybe get to the bolts that remove the hinges from the monocoque. Perhaps that involves removing the front wings?

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Knock taper pin out of door stay.
Remove 2 x circlips.
Unplug wiring behind foot kick panel.
Lift off door in fully open position.

It is a bit heavy !!!

Cheers mate, sound advice and yeah ... they are heavy! ... came off easy enough though and went back on without too much of a struggle. My 'project work van' is now finished too! ... and super happy with it. Second project Freelander for me in the last 12 months, I've absolutely fallen in love with these things! So nice to drive and kinda one of the last analogue cars in my opinion ... which means I have half a chance of being able to do all the work on it myself! (with the help of this awesome forum!)
