freelander 2 2010…end cap of rear wiper motor fell off!… inner coil moved a little but managed to refit end cap!….unfortunately motor doesn’t turn!…does motor need rewiring etc…any suggestions

The Freelander 2 rear wiper motor is known to fail. From memory it's from a Fiesta, which is also known to fail.
Replacement is the only proper cure. Also don't play with the switch, because if the motor stops when trying to park, the power is continually applied, which has been known to cause fires in the tail door.
