I removed them today. I don't need them seeing as it's only me, the missus and a scabby old collie (love him really!!)

Now, I wasn't foolish enough to throw them away for various reasons, i.e re-sale and my question below.

Now, seeing as they were an original feature of the vehicle, do they, would they, come under MOT legislation?

PS heavy bastards aren't they?

Seating does if fitted, original, optional, what ever.

You can MOT a car with missing seats.

Think the only advisory would be if the seat belts are still on show but with no where to click them into. I removed my rear seats last year and put some storage bins in, the seat belts were pushed back through inside the trim panels either side of the boot door and I've left the headrests in place. No problems or mentions at MOT time.

I removed the seats, belts, and headrests about 3 year ago now. NOT an mot issue.

Anyone want to buy a pair of seats?
