Hello gents
just had the h/g replaced and noticed afterward that the electricity of rangy is flickering, not in a regular rythme and accelerating isn't changing the situation,it shows up randomly and dissapear sudenly, sometimes the engine judders and rpm falls down, could it be the alternator is on it is way up? I have checked all the grounds in the engine compartment nothing is forgoten or loose.what is wrong?the engine is smooth and the job on the heads was done properly,is it related to the job done or a different problem?

Control box/brush set on alternator is most likely cause. If slip rings are in good nick fit a new controller/brush set.

i had exact same problem, put another battery in and all will be ok, its the alternator alright as mine is only putting out 11volts

it was a loose ground the one that sits on the shock absorber turret,i have tighten it up and so far so good.battery is 6 months old,the droping rpm was from the rubber hose that got disconnected from the rocker cover to plenum, ended it up tightening everything up again from hose clips to loose grounds, guess the boys at the garage were partying the night before removing the heads, hope nothing is loose also in the heads lol.
