I've had my 52 plate 110 for a week now and it's had 2 flat batteries. First was registering 0v. Now it has 11.25v and when my missus open the door there was a clicking sound from behind the dash clocks. The central locking fob arms the immobiliser but since we've had it it has never flashed the indicatiors. At first there was a blast from the alarm but that has gone now. The trailer indicator light flashes weak and randomly mainly when the indicators are on.

Can anyone tell me what is causing the battery to go flat and is it the indciator relay the wife heard? Could it be a faulty immobiliser?

TIA

I've replaced the indicator relay today but I can still a relay clicking and it sometimes clicks when turning on an electrical switch like the rear heated screen or stereo.

The indicator relay was behind the clocks and there were two other relays there, could anyone tell me what these relays do and could they the cause of my problems.

Buy a DC clamp meter (cheap on eBay, make sure it measures DC though) put it round the positive wire on the battery and you will see any current flow. Then keep disconnecting things until it stops.

Tip of the day: if you coil the wire through the clamp meter jaws twice you get double the reading, ten coils you get ten times the reading, so in this way you can make it really sensitive.
