Evening all, I bought some 2nd hand side steps off ebay for £50. So I went and collected them and when I have got them home I cant seem to get them to fit.

They came with 6 nut and bolts with what can only be described as a hook on the end. I am assuming that there is meant to be holes under the car.

If I cant find a way to fit these things then I will sell them to someone that has hopefully got the holes needed.

yu have to drill the holes (i fink) and fit nutserts.

The guy I got them off said that they were a easy fit. So what are these nutserts???

I am no good with my hands so this will be a nightmare for me, I think I might just sell them on. lol

the holes are predrilled, and sometimes covered with a sticker,
i bought some side bars from a guy who said that his motor had the nutinserts already fitted,
however when i tried to fit mine, there were no nutinserts, so i had to put them in myself,
its an easy job if you have the tool for fitting them,
