So I bought new lights all round for my 1983 Series 3...took the old lenses off and the lights themselves are held to the body with a variety of screws and about 30 years of dirt...I've looked for a suitable fixing but can anyone recommend a decent replacement...???...

I used stainless 8x5/8 on my lights, indicators.
found some on ebay for you..

Or use this as a guide to sizes, then search ebay as its easy, for a size you fancy.
Sizes of screws, metric and imperial screw sizes, screw size to use
