Hello to all.

Got myself some nice Disco 1 XS front seats to fit in to my Defender.

Who has fitted them and do you have any tips n tricks for me?

If you have fitted these lot of photos please!!

they look slim but not as slim as standard seats. I'm 5.8 so I'm expecting to sit a tad higher but not too much before my legs hit the steering wheel. I'm yet to lay a tape on them but if they don't fit i will wack em on the bay. don't stand me at much money and worth a shot i thought.

Yeah should work for you,
I raised my 90 std seat with some homemade seat rails by 40mm all told to give leg room as I am a little taller. I just thought they were a lot deeper in the base than a std fender seat. Still as you say worth a punt , if it works it should be a nice job.

I'm gonna watch this I've fitted the disco second row seats in my 110 CSW and I plan to start on the front seats shortly.

hello you lot

so i have took out my old seats today after work and had a quick mock up of the disco seats i have.

it looks like they will work really well once the bulkhead is cut out for max leg room.

here are some photos of the seats side my side. i forgot to take a photo of the passenger seat in the landy! doh! but it did fit well even with the bulkhead in the way as my defender is a 2 door hard top.

Our 1991 Defender 110 the girlfriend drives has Range Rover P38 seats in.....I am 6'3" and can fit, albeit I have to duck down to look through the side windows and my legs are about an inch under the smaller Montro steering wheel, but drive-able.
