In my very limited and humble opinion
By fitting a removable one you can take the ball hitch off when orf rodeoin, and it won't interfere with ya ground clearances and approach angles
If ya loose the rear towing eye (less weight) when fitting it and fit a swivel eye or two to the cross bar you still have the benefit of recovery when orf rodeoin
I am assuming the tow bar will utilise the same holes as the rear towing eye
