Hi all, when fitting a snorkel do you just need to seal the pipes to the intake of the turbo or should you do all the others ie from the turbo to the inters etc. just thought anything after the turbo would be at positive pressure so no need to seal
I would try a bag trick, which some say work and some say dont. But, seal the wing section and snorkel to wing. Then try and cut the engine out when in idle by placing a bag over the snorkel intake. If it cuts out, you know its sound as it is, if not well you can then persue sealing other things.
I have a hole in the end of my filter which I need to bung up. I heard you can use a coke bottle top to block that up
just fitted my own and have been told also to remove or plug up t section large one between snorkel and air filter , and if you use silicone?
dont drive till its set, it might get sucked in happy wading
