Typically, this is one of those '20 minute' jobs I started about 3 weeks ago, and never got round to completing, and in that time I've lost the bloody instructions.

I've cut out the section of the old dash using the template, and the raptor dash slots in it nicely, but it doesn't push all the way home, and as such the bottom of the dash won't quite reach the lip where it sits on the old cut out.

Looking at it, the reason for this seems to be that the grey back plastic trim on the vent panel needs cutting so that the Raptor dash can slot in, but I can't remember in the instructions it saying this needs to be done?

I had to trim the back of the raptor dash slightly to get mine to fit. I did have pics of the process on my blog but raptor asked me to remove them !

Why on earth would they do that?

Would really rather not start trimming the damn dash tbh.

They said that i was fitting it wrong and didnt want other people seeing it fitted like that but it wouldnt fit unless i trimmed the back corner off the metal on the raptor dash

Mine won't either by the looks of it.

IMO the instructions could really do with some diagrams or photos.

I didnt need to trim any of mine, i got mine pretty much when it came out, unless they've changed the design a bit?

Mine slotted strait in too, I'm sure they would e mail you a copy of the instructions if you ask.

I got mine in ok, just trim a tiny bit off the metal of the cut-out you made in the dash left or right so it slots in exactly inbetween the vents. 20 mins to fit my foot-took me that and many times more to read instructions, look up old landrover magazines and pluck up courage to do it!
