I fitted a Mantec snorkel and Mud snow cowl (just in time :)) on wednesday, these were both from santa :D
Also fitted some wipac clear fronted light and halfords + 130 bulbs, what a differance :eek::eek:, I can see at least as well as with the lights from my ford focus...I'm well pleased, 5 mins to fit and didnt cost the earth

I'll try and take some pics tomorrow,
its the Mantec plastic jobby on a TD5, very easy to fit, I used M6 nut and washer instead of the nutsert supplied, took about 20 mins to fit,

the snow cowl is the ABS one from Mud, just screws on instead of the flat grill.

I must admit that I fitted both of these mainly for the looks (as I'm a bit of a tart)

Thanks for the reply, I have been looking at a few snorkels, I found one from Rebel 4x4 that looks pretty good, I have a 2.5 and would like to put one on. The snow cowls are definitely interesting, I was looking at the MUD one, original MOD (galvanized) and the new ABS ones from one of the manufacturers on Ebay. Did yours have the holes already drilled or did you have to drill, and did you use stainless bits when you installed it?

The Mud one comes with the holes pre drilled, with new slightly longer stainless screws and little black screw head covers, seems realy well made, fitted on with no problems :D

Excellent, thanks for the info!! Looks like they went on extremely well and easy..Just ordered a snow cowl this morning!! Unfortunatley I will get to put it on in April, when I am on holiday...
