td4 gets water ingress around top of engine .. when left standing in heavy rain ..
good idea to clean what electrical connections you can .. and smear some 'contralube' on them
e.g. the injectors .. fuel rail pressure sensor .. maf .. cam sensor .. .. mainly what ones are on top of the engine ..
( it's the fuel rail pressure sensor that's usualy the problematic one regarding corrosion )

bmw crankcase vent .. replacing the crankcase vent filter ..
silicone intercooler hoses ..
turbo vacuum vent filter ..
maf sensor
cam sensor
lp fuel pump

Synergy 2a .. ( Synergy 2 from tuning-diesels.com )
