Hi there Landyzone.

After about 7 months of searching, last weekend I finally found and bought what is really my dream Defender 90. I pick it up next saturday after service and new MOT.

It's a '99 TD5 County, converted to CSW from hard top last December. It's in really good shape, with all the seats and interior newly trimmed for the conversion. It's intended use is lugging friends and kit about the country for camping and climbing expos, and just a little bit of looking dead cool at festivals and family gatherings.

I picked up the Haynes manual on ebay yesterday and am well looking forward to getting into the LR community, it's completely standard from the outside, so light guards, spots, roof rack etc. are all on the cards for the next few years. I bet I'll be doing a lot of reading on here...

but first, really, is insurance. Need to find the best deal. I think I saw a thread around here for that I'll try to dig up now, but any other pointers more than welcome :):):)

welcome If there's going to be more than 2 of you camping/climbing. You'll need a rack or roof box for the gear.. 90's are rather cramped for space.
