Hi all, just bought my first Land Rover...2003 Discovery 2. Had it a week and totally love it! Got into off-roading about a year ago when I bought a UAZ 469...which I'm now going to sell.

Went for the Disco as the UAZ is incredibly bumpy and I want to get into some more serious offloading. Its 40 years old this year and starts first time every time
Its not in perfect condition but works, and there is surprisingly little corrosion on the chassis and body (most of what there is is just surface rust). Has the equivalent of an MOT over here in Slovakia and brings a smile to my face every time I sit in it...full of character and I will be sad to see it go. I went for the Disco as I can use it as an everyday car as well and its more comfy off road. Sadly I don't have the funds to run and service both
The UAZ originally served in the East German military, then went to private ownership in Austria, then previous owner took it to Slovakia and now I own it.
It's for sale for 3500EUR though registered in Slovakia. I have all documents, but can't guarantee it will pass a UK mot. As its a 1974 it may not require road tax? I can deliver it to UK for a fee on my car transport trailer. Don't mean this to sound like an advert, only posted it as you asked for pics
