Hi everybody,

Im soon to collect my first Landrover 90.
It's a old girl that has been rebuilt from the ground up and unfortunatly been left for a couple of years without any use.

While I'm looking forward to getting her Mot'd and back on the road can anybody tell me of a trustworthy LR specialist in the Nottingham/Mansfield area.

Whats a good/average labour charge?

:welcome2: Best advise is get some spanners and have a good go yourself it doesnt get any cheaper than that..
Bang it through its mot checking everything works before hand, lights brakes ect then have a dam good go... loads of how to do bits on hear....

Tonks 4x4 over in huthwaite dont know if there any good or not thou never used them...

I agree but because its been off the road for 2 years Id prefer It to have done by somebody who knows what they are doing first... Then I could (try) and take it from there by maintaining it...Levels,greasing etc.

if its been stood, change the oils, check the condition of the brakes. check the brakes & electricals etc work and you should be ok

wouldnt bother getting someone to do the jobs you can easily do yourself.

Id preffer to pay somebody... Its not realy a problem... A experienced opinion would mean more than saving a few quid and half a day of my own time.

Ill search the forums, there must be a good specialist that somebody uses.
