Hello everyone

I have recently purchased a P38 and the window switches are slightly faulty the two rear windows work on the individual switches,
however on the front switch panel one window goes down but won't go back up
Also the passenger front window doesn't go down yet the drivers goes up and down.

I took the switch panel off and disassembled it and found what looked like dry coffee/ drink stains around the lower part of the mother board , I used some contact cleaner and reassembled to no avail.

Is it easier to just replace the panel with a second hand one
Or shall I look into the motors in each door?

Any suggestions welcome

Cheers

The switches can be dismantled and the contacts cleaned. It's a common problem. I have to do one switch on each of mine when I do the pre MOT service.

Yes it seems to happen to them all , the mother board looks in very good condition however I believe I'm going to have to replace it.
