Is there a list out there which tells you what all the fault codes mean.
Its ok having a code reader say Hawkeye
But not a lot of good if numbers come up that you cant relate too

Those codes are not valid for a D2 Td5 which is not OBDII compliant, you dont need a fault code list cos hawkeye will not give you a OBDII(EOBD) P code anyway, it will give you the fault's description... eventually if you are confused after you have the fault pointed by hawkeye you can search the similar P code where you can find out possible(not certain) causes.

your best bet, get a Haynes manual and read it front to back, find out where things are and what they do! then the codes may be aware to you.

it is sometimes easier to read about it and take it in at your own pace, we had a hire machine the other week, i had to take the manual home at night and read about it, next day i found it had 2 more gears!!! lol
