Ackshirley I can't think of a better reason for a journey than to drive in a Land Rover to Shropshire to look at a Land Rover get in a sneaky lane or two on the way and have cake :D :D :D
 
Well if your local and get a chance to cast an eye over it that would be great.

I agree, driving to Shropshire in a landrover and doing some lanes would be great but in gonna struggle with that without an actual landrover. :).

I work nights so driving too far in between shifts is tricky hence reaching out the wider community.

Dont go out if your way but would appreciate any help undoubtedly.

Not out of my way at all.
1. Got folks over that way be good to drop in an chew the fat with.
2. I love the road from here to there.
3. Good excuse for a little more back lane exploring
4. I get to look at/poke about with another Landy
5. I get cake for doing it :D

Classic win win I'd say :cool:

Hey, I can't drop off some cake as I'm a million miles from Shropshire hence the request for help in the first place.

But you have my word that if I end up making a purchase (if its not sold from under me already today) and I obviously will need To go to Shropshire to collect, then as you may have helped avoid me make a wasted trip to view the vehicle then I am sure I can ply you with cake based products a plenty.

That's what I inferred previously.

Obviously if the issue of cake or concern over the lack of subsequent provision of cake deters you from the task ahead then I won't be offended if you don't wish
to have a peak.
 
Hold up. Don't mank at me about manners unless you intend to make the same response to the so called experienced forum members regarding their highly Unconstructive and patronising comment to my initial post request.

The thread went on to comment on how thick skinned you need to be on this forum so don't bleat when you get replied back to with similar tone than is being dished out.

But to appease the minority, thank you ever so much for your reply. Your continued observation to my thread and subsequent regular updates is grateful received. Never before have so many done so much for so few.
