just got a series III 1982, the lad that sold it to me has fitted a j19??? 2.5 turbo diesel engine in it from a 90 i think. he kept the old exhaust system and made a link pipe from a piece of flexi pipe (if i find my camera i'll post a picture, it's original to say the least). i can't get more than 50 from it now and there must be at least 3/4" difference in the diameter of the link pipe and the old system.

i think the ****e performance is the old system restricting the flow from the engine.
will a 90 exhaust fit under a series III?
I have been to a garage that want £480 to custom make a system from scratch .

I have been experiencing the same problem on a lwb and after many hours of searching and checking i am fairly confident a 110 exhaust will fit. So applying the same principal to yours then a 90 exhaust should be able to be adapted quite easily to fit a 88".

ta for that m8ty, given up though, going collecting one from steve parkers now instead, will compare it to a 90 system before i fit it though

Once you`ve compared it to the ninety exhaust let me know if thetre are any major differences please. cheers
