Hello,

I have discovered a pretty big leak in my exhaust between the manifold and exhaust. Its the section on the picture below on the joint near the SYA7 bracket. Anyone have any ideas on how to repair it?

Sounds like you need to buy a new section of exhaust. Not sure what vehicle you have but when I had to change mine on my 110 Defender I had to remove the front cross member underneath.

Is it actually the joint that is leaking or is there a hole in the pipe?

I chose to cut my exhaust and clamp it rather than remove the front cross member

Its a land rover 90 v8. The exhaust is leaking at the joint. The v8 was a conversion and it looks like whoever fitted it cut some grooves into the exhaust to widen it and fit it over the manifold down pipe and a clamp fitted over it.

So im not sure if i'll to replace it, or i can repair it.

Gun gum could work. I'll buy some and see

A little section of pipe - maybe 2" wide, cut down the middle and formed over the hole then clamped on should do the job.
