I am currently looking at buying a 110 Ex MOD Land Rover. Which and what I have not decided yet but the answers here will go a long way to helping me decide.
I am fully aware how gutless these things can be but have stored on my drive my wifes old 300tdi Disco that has literaly fallen apart from the rust bug.
I am also very aware that the 200tdi is an easy fit but as this is going to be a keeper for a few years I am happy to work around a 300 being slightly modded to fit.
The questions are, what problems will I come across fitting the 300 into a MOD 110, Can I transfer the rad and cooler to the 110 with what fitting modifications, can I transfer the t-box for road gearing, will both axles fit the 110 as over the last few years they have been fully rebuilt?
Now the part about the proposed 110 I will buy for this, which one is my concern.
An old 110 (mid 80's) or an early 90's version with the thicker steering wheel or ideally a R380 version but they dont crop up too often.
TIA for any advice given..

Redhand, perfect link.

Thats that then, an LT77 version will do.

Will let you know how it comes along later this year once I have bought the 110.

Cheers

I've got a 300tdi and an lt77, i really like it.

Transfer box will bolt on, you may need to tap 2 holes in the back to mount the 110 handbrake.

Axles should fit, you will need to fit 110 spring seats to the rear axle because they are different sizes and you may need to use the wider disco radius arms for the front axle.
