When i got my first land rover,a 90 n/a it seemed noisy and slow,but i loved it to bits and still do(that was 2 years ago,iv,e just bought a series one and that seemed very noisy and a right boneshaker.getting back in my 90 it seems like a luxury limo,but after 3 weeks in the series one it seems quieter and faster and great fun,so i recon its me who changes,and the landies are all perfect,

It's just a Land Rover thing!

I drive a 200Tdi Discovery on a daily basis but when I jump into the girlfriends Megane Sport Coupe its feels like I'm dragging ass along the floor! Ok, maybe my ass gets dragged along at a fair old rate of knots but you just can't beat a Landie! I get a much better view of the road and and I can take it down any old rocky road without a worry of grounding out or getting stuck!

You can keep your Astra's and BMW's, I'd rather have a beat up old Landie anyday! Pop the bonnet and an engine stares back at you. Pop a BMW bonnet and all you'll find is a "Big old piece of plastic" trim and a plug socket for the lap-top!
