Had a thunk yesterday after i saw a bus on the a64 with a fountain of oil and water pouring out the back of it (practically covering my windscreen).

I tried to notify the driver by pointing, only to get a look of: "WTF do you want, nutjob!?"

so it lead me to thinking, how else do you get a folks attention of what is quite a seriuos malfunction?

I'm sure there are friendly folks on here that have done the same thing to fellow landrovers.....


......stop short of having a scrolling LED display like the fuzz have.

yeh, the back window was caked in mayo (oil and water had mixed up)....so you would have thought

Have stopped a fellow land rover owner cos their rear wheel was about to fall of. Followed for almost a mile flashing and beeping. When he finally did pull over, he acted as though I just escaped from a loonie bin! Why do people respond like this? You're going out of your way to help THEM! Odd sods.

overtake em at the first safe place to do so then accelerate away from them. Otherwise you'll just end up stuck behind them when they break down..

Balls to him! should have done his daily walk round check then it would have been in the workshop and not causing havoc on the roads
