Okay, so whats this EKA thing? and why dont I have one? I gather its some sort of code,for security, but Im sure I dont have it......

If it is a security code where can i get it and is it pricey?

I dread your replies.....:dizzy:

Emergency Key Access code, get it from your local LR Stealer FREE on production of log book and I.D. Sooner or later you will need it. If you have the owners manual and wallet, it should be in there on a card along with the radio code.

Yeah i have the manual and wallet but no card...bugger!

I phoned the LR dealer today to order core plugs and thought I'd ask them about my radio and EKA code. They gave me the codes over the phone...no hassle

Now put the EKA code in your wallet or pocket or somewhere OUTSIDE the car. Then, when the locking system doesn't recognise the code from your key you can use this to get into the car.

So don't be a plonker and keep it all nice and neat and safe in the glove compartment.

Try it this week-end BEFORE you need to for real.

Are people really that stupid??!? Thats as bad as leaving the spare key inside!

How do I try it for real? Battery dissconnect?
