hi all
i have a a p38 with a no engine. the car is to good to break and i was wondering which would be the easiest diesel engine to fit in as it was origanally petrol ?

M51 diesel belongs there and fits lovely

You will need the diesel loom with the engine and a diesel underbonnet ECM.
Along with some other bits and bobs off course

And you will have to set up the BECM for diesel and sync it. If it had a 4.6 before the auto gearbox ECU is different and the gearbox bell housing will have to be changed for petrol to diesel.
