Any one confirm that a 200tdi runs hotter than a 2.5n/a ??
I mean that it is designed to run hotter
This would explain why my gauge shows the 200 tdi running warm when it isn't. I have put a 19J sender in the 200tdi and the gauge is defender which was running with the old 2.5n/a
I assume that the gauge thinks that its still a 2.5n/a and that the engine is starting to overheat when in fact the engine is normal temp for a 200tdi.
I also swapped the gauge to check and left the centre earth wires off and both gauges went into the red and beyond, what do these earth wires do to affect the reading? ok when put back
might just buy a gauge with matching sender, whats the thread size anyone 5/8 unf ??
