Went to adjust the tappets on my disco and found that I need to remove the side breather (not mentioned in the Haynes).

According to the manual then there should be two bolts on it - mine only seems to have one.

Can someone please confirm that there is only one bolt?

Also - my 8mm socket is slipping on it but 7mm is too small - can someone confirm is an 8mm bolt before I try other methods of removal.

It's only one bolt.Don't know the head size though.
Check the 'o' ring on the canister mine was leaking...
