just some advice if possible checked oil this morning just on the low mark so needs topping up. but when i went to buy some i checked it again showed nothing on the dip stick what so ever only 10 min drive to supplier is this correct .
thanks for the info as i have had spent a lot of money recently on the girl had the head gasket done new gearbox before xmass hopefully nothing else could go wrong
As Discool said, check the level when the engine is cold(or at least it rested half hour) ...and use the same type of oil cos it's not healthy to mix them.
the engine oil level should be checked when the engine is cold to get a true reading.
