More information is needed.
What car, engine, year, gearbox type and anything else you think is relevant.

Land rover Freelander s 2005 5 door manual. BMW Engine. Light came on after trying to open frozen back door, took it to garage for reset, seemed ok then it came on again. Parked it up, went out no light, then it came on again with the code shown above. Thats about it, no loss of power nothing else seems wrong.

Ok. So it's showing a CAN fault. You need to start by checking every ECU connection is secure. CAN failure in the FL1 isn't very common. Prime candidates are the Ipack, Alarm ECU, ABS ECU, engine ECU and the CCU.

CAN only comes to a Td4 manual from ABS and Instrument Pack

I suspect this isn’t the reason why the EML is on and the code reader you’re using isn’t capable of pulling all the codes stored
