Hi,

I'm hoping somebody has an answer for me on this one, my cross member on my SWB S3 is bent upwards from a knock and needs replacing but they're rediculously expensive however I have found someone who says he has a LWB one for sale, the question is are they different? It looks the same in the picture i've seen but wondered if anyone could confirm this.

Well I guess someone has to ask... which crossmember? Engine, gearbox, main crossmember with hole for power take off etc etc. Until you get to the last one, the rear crossmember.

oops! I meant the one that goes under the flywheel housing

Can you look at Richards Chassis website and compare the cross members there?
