hi all having a few probs with the electrics on the hippo i have no near side side light back or front main beam on front ok still no back light .both rear break lights ok so is reverse light allso at the same time no centre console lights IE no lighting up of the window switches back or front no heater switches light up either although all swiches operate no fuses have gone allso the bulbs seem ok any ideas am at a loss many thanks. oops forgot 03 plate td4 cheers

it sounds like a faulty connector, are u able to pull them apart from the front section and test both side to see if u have power there first
start at the fuse box and make sure ur getting power coming out of the fuse box then working through ur loom
sorry cannot remember what colour etc but one of the guys here with more experiance will be able to help or look in ur halfords book
hope it helps abit and always handy to have a multimeter

i just feel it as so many items have failed to be a main connector where the looms plug into each other , or maybe when the loom comes out of the fuse box
if u track them down, plug them apart and make sure there mating correctly
think its going to be the question of elemination and going through it step by step

for left hand side lights it is fuse F28 in the passenger fuse box and f 24 for dipped beam and f 20 for left main beam. try looking at those first plus have you tested the bulbs failing that it has to be a connector or even a bad earth
