Hi All

2001 D2 Ace, air etc td5

for a few days, my wipers/stereo/ heated seats / and a few other things didnt become 'live' when starting, but did when switching on. A few starts and stops, and they worked ok

None of the above now work at all when running, but do work when switched on but not started.

I couldn't seem to find any commonality between these functions, so I've pulled the fuse box below the dash out to find a small amount of corrosion on one connector block, spreading onto the PCB.

Happy days, a clean and we're up and running, or not!

Any ideas what might be up?

Check the block of earths under the bonnet . Drivers inner wing just up from battery/jack box

i can't understand though if it's fixed now or not

I think i now have it sorted, the ignition switch didnt seem to be returning to its rest position after starting,

If i start her, then turn the key back a couple of degrees after letting it go, all seems ok

I'll know better tomorrow with a few more starts etc
